Camp Counselor

Position Overview:

Ready for the best summer ever? Friendly Pines & CampWay is looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and fun-loving Male Camp Counselors to join our team in the cool pines of Prescott, AZ! As a counselor, you’ll be a mentor, leader, and role model—helping campers create unforgettable memories filled with adventure, friendship, and laughter.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and supervise a group of awesome campers (ages 6–14)
• Jump into activities like sports , hiking , swimming , arts & crafts , and campfires
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all campers
• Be a role model and build meaningful connections
• Help manage cabin life (morning routines , evening wind-down , and keeping things tidy )
• Work as part of an energetic and supportive team
• Handle challenges with patience, creativity, and leadership

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Male applicants preferred for cabin supervision and mentorship roles
• Experience working with kids or in camps is a big plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and lots of energy
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)
• Must pass a background check

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Awesome!):

• Sports coaching, outdoor education, or youth leadership experience
• Lifeguard certification or ropes course experience
• A passion for making a difference in kids’ lives
