Description
Tired of the big-firm grind? Join a boutique practice where your ideas matter and your future is unlimited! This isn’t your typical law job. You’ll help shape deals in the billboard and media world—an industry that’s dynamic and constantly evolving!
Our firm, a well-established boutique practice with over 20 years of experience, primarily represents clients in the billboard and out-of-home advertising industry. It is a fun, thriving and entertaining industry to work in! We've done work in Times Square, Los Angeles and other big cities! We represent the companies that own the sign structures (not the advertisers on the structures). We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Attorney to join our team, with a clear path to ownership opportunities. Its an opportunity to deep dive into an industry that has very little competition and so you become an expert very quick!
Position Highlights:
Practice Areas: Corporate law (with a heavy emphasis on acquisitions -Must be comfortable working on $10m+ size transactions), general real estate matters (billboards involve aspects of real estate so it requires a basic understanding of real estate issues), commercial leasing (billboard operators lease land underlying the structures); governmental affairs (we work closely with local governments that control permitting of billboards and address issues with local sign regulations that restrict the rights to build signage).
Client Focus: Work closely with corporate clients and developers in the industry to build and maintain strong relationships.
Bonus Experience: Media and advertising industry knowledge is a plus.
Travel: Minimal.
Location: Orlando office with flexibility for remote work on certain days.
Time: Looking for a full time position (as I have plenty of work for the applicant to do) but would consider an of-counsel or remote/part-time position for the right candidate
Compensation: Salary negotiable, based on experience. Annual bonuses are highly encouraged based on performance! We believe in rewarding talent. The earning potential here is limited only by your ambition.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate matters (acquisitions), real estate matters, commercial leasing, and/or governmental affairs.
Excellent interpersonal skills for client interaction and relationship management.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
If you are looking for a unique opportunity to grow with a respected firm and gain ownership potential, we’d love to hear from you!
