Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) – MASH: Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital

MASH is a  fast-paced, collaborative specialty and emergency hospital. Our clinic has a long-standing, positive reputation in LA, and we're thrilled to announce that we are under new DVM ownership! Our hospital is multi specialty and is always looking to find new ways to support our teammates 

Our team is looking for a technician with a VTS (or an RVT pursuing a VTS) in either Cardiology, Surgery or ECC. The person would act as a mentor to our junior RVTs and technicians and take an active role in supporting our doctors on the floor. 

As a VTS, you’ll be empowered to:

Lead advanced nursing care in your specialty area
Support and mentor RVTs and assistants through clinical training
Collaborate closely with DVMs and specialists in fast-paced, high-acuity cases
Contribute to continuing education, case rounds, and protocol development
Elevate patient outcomes with your technical expertise and critical thinking

What We’re Looking For

Credentialed RVT (or LVT/CVT) in good standing
VTS (ECC, Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, or related specialty) or on the path to completion
Strong technical and communication skills
Team-oriented attitude with a passion for teaching and collaboration

Requirements

RVT or pursuing VTS
