This role can be based in Shanghai.

ABOUT THE ROLE
1. Assist with preparation and organization of corporate documents, including formation and governance materials.
2. Conduct basic legal and factual research using online databases and firm resources.
3. Support due diligence efforts by organizing and reviewing corporate records and third-party materials.
4. Assist in maintaining corporate minute books and other client files.
5. Proofread and format legal documents and correspondence.
6. Attend team meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to corporate legal processes.
7. Observe and assist in transactional closings, including document preparation and post-closing organization.
8. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies regarding information handling.
9. Demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn from feedback and guidance.
10. Track and report internship hours and progress as required by academic institution or firm guidelines.
ABOUT YOU
1. Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate law program at a top-tier law school.
2. Strong academic performance required.
3. Preference given to candidates who have passed the Chinese National Judicial Examination.
4. Prior internship experience in big law firms is a plus.
