Job Purpose
Oversee and manage a team of geologists. Contribute to the advanced-stage exploration of Industrial Minerals (IM) & New Materials (NM) operations strategy to deliver resources in core commodities and to fulfil Exploration & Resource Development (ERD) strategy. Contribute to meeting corporate Strategy 2040 focusing on areas with highest geological potential.
Key Accountabilities

1. Support target identification testing and delineation across advanced-stage IM & NM commodities.

1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the exploration of advanced-stage IM & NM, including targets, cost management etc.

1. Direct and oversee the identification and evaluation of new IM & NM deposits with potential for economic or industrial development purposes.

1. Lead and contribute to the creation of advanced-stage IM & NM exploration operations plans, budgets, and justifications to forecast potential cost of exploration activities. Monitor IM & NM exploration budgets and report budgets status to prevent over and underspending.

1. Manage, monitor, and assess advanced-stage IM & NM exploration KPIs (drill targets, new resources, etc.).

1. Oversee, plan, and manage all geological research activities within your team of geologists. Act as an expert in the field of geology.

1. Oversee, prepare, and provide accurate and timely advanced-stage IM & NM exploration operations reports to relevant internal and external parties and stakeholders as required.

1. Manage the design, coordination, and management of IM & NM exploration programs and site investigations to identify deposits amenable to economic extractive operations in future.

1. Promote a "Safety First" culture in advanced-stage IM & NM exploration operations team and implement the Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) management system to ensure team members fulfill standard EHSS processes and operating procedures.

1. Drive automation, new technologies, artificial intelligence, digitalization, advanced analytics, and data-driven optimization to streamline advanced-stage IM & NM exploration operations.
   • Bachelor's degree in Geoscience and / or Mining Engineering

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience in target generation & grassroots exploration

Minimum Experience:

• > 10 years of experience in geology within mining industry, with >3 years of experience across management roles
• Familiarity with KSA mining, minerals, and exploration sector

• Broad experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC)
