Baker Moran is seeking a hard-working, motivated Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of litigation experience to join our fast-paced eminent domain practice.  We represent clients across Texas in condemnation matters, and this role offers the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility early while working alongside experienced trial lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Perform legal research and develop case strategy with partners
• Attend hearings, administrative hearings, mediations, depositions, and property inspections
• Work with experts, appraisers, and consultants
• Support all phases of eminent domain litigation from intake through trial

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• 2–4 years of litigation experience (civil litigation or clerkship preferred)
• Law Review participation strongly preferred
• Moot court or mock trial experience strongly preferred
• Exceptional research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism
• Interest in eminent domain or property-related litigation a plus
