This role will work out of our Boston, MA facility and will support the organization by overseeing a robust event schedule, maintaining and increasing member attendance, ensuring program quality, and creating new partnerships. It will also help to provide a systematic approach to acquiring and developing high impact volunteers. The ideal candidate must be able to think on their feet, juggle many moving pieces, and be comfortable filling in for instructors as needed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work on-site, overseeing efficient and effective daily operations
Manage a high-demand calendar of 10+ in-person events per day and at least one large-scale special event per quarter
Supervise a high-performing team of staff and act as point-of-contact for volunteers and contractors
Evaluate instructor performance to uphold program quality
Supervise facilities maintenance and cleaning
Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships across the city
Design, implement, and refine systems to enhance budget planning and financial efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Significant people management experience
Fitness certifications, experience instructing fitness classes, and a high level of comfort level with filling in for a variety of classes last-minute
Experience with business networking
Ability to work on-site daily and provide periodic weekend/morning/evening coverage
Ability to travel occasionally throughout Suffolk County
Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year if needed
PREFERENCES

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Experience working with recovery groups
Familiarity with nonprofit grant lifecycles
Lived experience as a peer in recovery
Desire to apply anti-racism and anti-oppression principles and practices
SALARY AND BENEFITS
$70,000 - $80,000 annually
